I've encountered too many women in real life as well as on reddit and other social media sites who don't want to believe that the "friend zone" exists. I've been in heated arguments regarding this topic where myself and my friends will be branded the "pigs" or the "assholes" because we pretty much state the facts:

  1. Most men (beta or not) "befriend" women because of their initial attraction to them.
  2. Most beta men will remain friends with a female they're attracted to in hopes that one day their "friendship" will blossom into something more intimate.
  3. Almost ANY man would have sex with their female acquaintance if offered.

I seriously don't understand how people can deny the above when every time you turn around you hear another story about a girl's life long friend chiming up after 5+ years of friendship professing his love to her and being turned down for his awkwardness.

My only question is...are women in denial of this or do they really believe this doesn't happen? It's unfortunate that their white knight "friends" feel like this shoe fits when these convos come up so they support the echo chamber by saying, "Not all guys" or "I'm not like that, I can't speak for other dudes" while nervously wiping sweat and looking at their hot female "friend" who they fap to on the nightly.

What am I missing?
