It's been about a year since I swallowed the pill and gone through all of the phases, including entering the acceptance one. Ever since that happened, I have become far more humble and disciplined and less wimpy, emotional and Beta-like. I've begun lifting and am much more athletic, am building better hygiene habits, fixing body language and am taking my studies much more seriously. (I'm a math major with a 3.68) Even though I've come a long way, there is still a lot more to fix...

My family and friends have taken notice at my behaviors and the guilt tripping and shaming is in full throttle. My underachieving mother doesn't want me becoming like one of those "stuck up rich people." My friends tell me not to waste the "best time of your life" improving yourself because "college is when you're the most alive." My aunt doesn't want me watching those "evil and elitist" TV shows(such as House of Cards and Breaking Bad), which are good examples on how to hold frame, and says I should be watching those Hallmark bullshits instead because "your wife will like it." I can write an entire book about this, but that's beside the point here.

My question is, assuming a guy is taking his self-improvement route very seriously in all aspects, what's it really like being a man in your 30s? Everybody that I've met says that your 30s suck donkey shit because you have to be "responsible", but I call bullshit.
