Tl;dr: Ex said something to me that really threw me off, not sure what to do or feel about it.

I'm going to do my best to keep things at a minimum. Here's what was said verbatim:

Her: Out of all the men, you're the only one who I've felt like never wanted me. I mean I knew with everyone else I was wanted except with you.

Me: (Mouth open, and I could hear in my own voice that it bothered me) "I can see how you would feel that way." (I didn't raise my voice, it was actually calmer than I thought)

After that it was silence for a good minute and she told me she'd call me back later, I said ok bye and hung up.

The reason this bothered me so much is because she isn't 100% wrong nor is she 100% right. I don't want her romantically in that way, hence why she's my ex; but this isn't the first conversation we've had about this and I've explained to her in great detail (examples and all, you would have thought I was a lawyer) that I did want her like crazy in the beginning and the few years into our relationship. (Known her for 5, dated for 3)

This shit literally threw me this morning, and I'm so emotionally homeless I can't even tell you what I am. When we first met I was bluepill to the tenth degree and all that nonsense.

Regardless, as I am now it hurt because after her cheating, my insecurities and hella issues, being emotionally manipulated by her (intentional and no) I'm looking at things like how could that even have been said!?

Gents...am I in the wrong? This threw my whole day off and I want it back, I appreciate you in advance for your clarity.
