Well, she is really tall. You got rejected by someone who is in the 95th percentile for female height. I wouldn't think too much into this, because she's probably a lot more insecure about her height than you are about yours.

I know someone else already mention these stats matter more on the internet than in person. It doesn't help that most people add an extra inch or two to their heights (women included), but you're tall enough for height not to be an issue in 90% of cases. At least you know it wasn't your looks.

Online will always be like that. First impressions based on photos, parameters. That's why it's really low quality method of meeting potential partners - you focus on things that really are not very important, and then you meet the person and you find out it doesn't really work out between you too... but you have already declined many people who could be awesome but had too little cm or whatever.

If you have bad "stats" then approach IRL I guess. Then you can your numerical disadvantage with game.

I think you handled this correctly. If height is that big a disqualifier for her, then don't waste your time. Yeah, you can defeat the shit test over text and still game her in person, but that's an uphill battle. That was a shit test and a red flag in one.

5'8" isn't even that short... That sucks that you'd be turned down for that. As a 5'6" guy in Canada, I don't really bother with online dating. I've found meeting up with people randomly in real life is more fun - you get to work on your approach, build confidence, try different personalities, and statistics like height take a backseat.

I think, I believe, that women interpret what they will from the surface.

Our job is to defy that if we want to ride the ride. Much of this boils down to "can he dominate me" from what I've heard from girls. It's why being nice, being short, having a high voice, skipping through a house party, or whining are turn offs.

I was going to say you're better off without that kind of girl but that's all people. All people must be handled a certain way if you respect, fear, or them to treat you as important. Sometimes those opportunities don't come and sometimes you have to make one. Top post is the best response.

This is why online dating is a much tougher process for shorter dudes. For short guys, I recommend meeting women by making tons of female friends or by approaching in real life (during the day or in nightlife, whichever you prefer).

Confidence/attitude and genetics are the two big components of attraction. Online game doesn't really let you display the former. But walking up to a girl confidently and saying hi does. And not a lot of guys do that.
