Greetings friends. My BP friend has been with his LTR for roughly 2 1/2 years. His current LTR has too many red flags to count but he seems to look past them. I've known this girl has been a slut since the day we all met her, not to mention she fucked another friend of our group before even meeting my current friend shes dating.

Anyways, a few weekends ago we all met up for drinks and ended up downtown at the bars. She was going through his phone messing around trying to show one of her girlfriends something ( who knows ) and while she was doing that he slyly grabbed her phone and started going through it. I was talking to someone else when he motioned me over, turns out she had been texting her ex-bf for a few weeks basically catching up. I didn't read the conversation because I didn't see a point.. in my eyes texting an ex boyfriend is immediate grounds for a next. I instantly tell him to leave her that she was always no good and now he has proof. He calls her over and shows her the texts and she begins hamstering and rationalizing and making 90000 excuses and he starts to cry right there on the spot ( we were all pretty drunk to be fair ). He promises me he's leaving her and that I was right all along about her and thanks me for being a good friend.

Come to find out the next day that not only are they still together but she's bragging to my LTR that "We just had sex and everything's fine :)." Of course this enrages me seeing one of my best friends being played like a fiddle and just accepting that his LTR is most likely fucking around behind his back and readying branches. My question to you guys, Is there anything I can do to save him? Is it better off just me letting him find out the hard way? Any advice? Thanks.
