Make sure the kitchen and bathroom aren't gross. Like she should not be afraid to venture in there ... LOL. Also, change your sheets!

One piece of advice I follow, check all 5 senses when fixing up your apartment in each of the rooms. Make it look good, clean up laundry, dishes, misc things lying around, keep it tidy. Next, make it smell good. Have some febreez lying around, get a candle in the living area, maybe the bedroom. Feel, are things soft? Clean sheets, comforter, couch blankets, etc. Taste, have a few different types of wine, I'll typically have one red and one white, because women don't generally know shit about wine, just the red/white contrast. Go as overboard as you wish, have 2 or 12 bottles, maybe some nice liquor. Finally sound, have a playlist in mind, I love having a 90's pop pandora, or blink 182 queued up, instant points with those. My place is always clean, you never know what happens and it keeps me disciplined. So yeah, clean.
