The answer to the title of your post is no - the brutal truth is there's always going to be guys on the bottom of the pile who just aren't going to pull the interest of women.

In your case, read this and note the use of "still waters run deep" game (which is more or less what I'm running, as a natural introvert).

And know you can gain the necessary self-improvement to "muddle through" to your relationship goals.

That was a good read, thank you. Not everyone can be alpha, but that doesn't mean I have to be completely beta. They key is probably realizing '[e]ven if you get shot down 19 times, there’ll be one out of the 20 who will be interested" - easier said than done, but the rational part of me understands that 0 = 0, whether this is 0 out of 20 or 0 out of 0 (though not in a strictly mathematical sense).

One of the top alphas at my school has a stutter. It doesn't stop him from getting with girls from all the schools in nearby districts. It doesn't hurt that he's a well built track star but I wanted to let you know it's nothing to hold you back. Let your confidence over shine it like he does

Thanks for responding. Point taken - confidence is key.

Alpha is just a bullshit word that is used to boil down the complexity of human behavior into a 140 characters or less explanation about life and masculinity.

I like your style.

Can everyone be alpha?

Yes, in the same way everyone can run a marathon. But just because everyone can do it doesn't mean that everyone will do it. The potential is always there, but for the vast majority of people it remains untapped.

As for the stutter thing, one of my buddies has a stutter and he had a threesome in a hot tub last spring, so it is possible. But he has a lot of other things going for him. He's freakishly athletic. Funny. Crazy adventurous.

Girls respond to the things he does, not the things he says.

As you said, being alpha isn't about being suave or witty. It's about being confident in your own value and expressing yourself without reservations, whoever that is. For some guys that's the outgoing, life of the party dude. For others it's the quiet artist. Others it's the surfing beach bum who doesn't take anything seriously.

Note that all three of the examples are going to attract a different type of woman. And that's cool. You need to figure out what works for you, and use that to the best of your ability. And improve upon it.

(Huge disclaimer. I'm not saying "be yourself." I'm saying be your best self. Huge difference.)

You've received two different answers to your question, becaus there are two different ways in which people use the term alpha. In one sense, to be alpha is to be self-actualized and masculine, while in another sense it is to be seen as superior. In this first sense, as it is often used in TRP, anyone can become an alpha. In the second sense, you do not have control over the perceptions of other people, and cannot choose to be the alpha male in a group. However, different men have different areas of expertise, dominance, and appeal, so being alpha in the second sense is subjective. Worry about what's on your own plate.
