I'm suffering with depression and anxiety. Used to drink every weekend, not anymore. Since i quit, i have way harder time to approach. (Before i had a lot of one night stands, even from cold approaches)

So here is today's failure. I was at this open air musical festival - hanging around with a buddy of mine. We were thinking to leave, because we didn't like it there - but i told myself, that at least i will approach one girl before leaving...

**I saw this chick. I approached her, giving her a hand to shake and saying my name. "Hi my name is BittahMaddman. Whats your name". She responded, but with an attitude that right away felt like the rejection + meanwhile some other chicks standing next to her(not her group) turned around and started looking at me.

So all this pressure got me confused, but even though it sounds funny i kinda kept my frame, but did a terrible thing. I said "I'm leaving now, and will be back in 2 hours, will you still be here?" - She replied "No" with that attitude again.

I said "ok than, nevermind, i won't be asking you for a favor" - and i left.

I wanted to die on the way home.

I have experience of approaching girls, but they always were a) situational b) i was at least tipsy.

But now, sober, it was terrible. I had no plan, i thought i would chit chat her up, but when she gave me that attitude killed me.

**But thats not it... On the way home, the park is pretty close to my home - two girls, not local as i understood from their convo, were walking next to me on the street talking about getting somewhere it will take them 40 minutes - and i chimed in saying "This town is pretty small, you should really try hard to get somewhere in 40 minutes". They smiled at me, said "yeaah" and left.
