I have received critical criticism in a new department at work. The overall comment was "we feel you are not performing to the required level".

When probed further the feedback is largely unjustified and I have done no wrong but they stem from complaints from one or two colleagues (who I find tricky to work with) - three examples were raised by my boss. All three of these examples I responded with my version and the manager understood and had no reply as to why there was a problem. However he finished by saying, still, we will continue to watch you closely.

I feel like this needs to be ironed out as it will affect my reputation among my peers and colleagues - mostly because my rational for all of their examples is valid and no flaws were found. It is all based on people's perceptions with no evidence.

How would you guys handle this? Please help as I am very concerd
