This may seem like a strange question, but I'm dealing with a death in the family this weekend. I had to cancel plans and the eventual "'im sorry for your loss" came out. my answer was basically my grandfather was BAMF lived to 93, fought in WW2, got blown up and put back together, came home and started a biz, stayed married for like 70yrs.. anyway he was awesome, led a full life, and thats kind of how i left it in the conversation. It felt level headed and in control when i said it. has anyone else ever dealt with this type of thing?

edit: i think part of the question is also how do i transition from my text game to hey fuck off for a few days while i grieve..
