I have been married for 15 years and early in our relationship she asked me how many people I slept with while we were out at a bar. I instantly said I didn't want to tell her and I definitely didn't want to know her number and the conversation was over. 17 years later, it has never come back up and I don't want to know.

Ask yourself what you will do if she says 1. What will you do if she says 10, what will you do if she says 20 what will you do if she says 100?

if she says 50, will you break up with her because she's a slut? Or will you end up always thinking about how hard she rode the CC before she met you? Do you want this? I can tell you that it is easy to not know and depend on making yourself the best man out there she can get NOW!

Unless you are willing to take action on the answer, I can't see a reason to ask.

If you plan to have her a serious LTR, go ahead: as far as I'm concerned it's an essential part of screening. But do know that if she has something to hide she won't be sincere about it.
