A married woman X who I've known since we were little lives with my sister Y. I was visiting my sister regularly. X and I got along really well.

This last time I visited after I left my sister Y texted me accusing me of being inappropriate with X. I tried to resolve things and smooth everything over because it was ridiculous to me. X texted me apologized for being inappropriate and it all stemmed from me being "magnetic, breath of fresh air, challenged her mind, yadayada" and that it was due to her marriage "not feeling like a marriage". I ignored this text as a shit test. Later she reached out saying she takes full responsibility, she is the one who is married, and hoped I wasn't taking as much shit as she was. Again another shit test.

I failed the test and texted X. Texted X saying not to worry, she didn't have to apologize, she did nothing wrong. She texted back "Im going to miss you". After that I realized I was getting wrapped up in all this drama that came from nothing so I blocked my sisters and X on instagram since that's how we mainly communicate and I don't want to get wrapped up in anymore drama.

X's husband texted me a few days ago saying X told him that she texted me telling me about her feelings for me (which isn't at all what she texted me). Again more drama and shit tests. He asked me to send him the message X sent me and that he's thankful she told him (beta) and that he's going to "fight for her" (beta).

They're all very Christian, closed off from reality, all their friends are married couples that live on instagram and have beta provider husbands. This all is completely stupid to me and I felt the best course of action was to block everyone and ignore.

Were my actions kind of butthurt or validate my sisters accusations? My thought is my sister was jealous of the attention X was getting from me while being married so threw a grenade into the whole thing. Still drama I don't want to be involved in.

Thoughts?
