So I recently started hanging out with this girl who I met in my classes. She's been in at least one of my classes since the first day of school, and within a few days I was already feeling mutual attraction as we are both very intellectually curious, sit in front, ask a lot of questions etc.

I picked up very quickly that she had a boyfriend and lost interest immediately. We would occasionally chat in class, but nothing serious or deep.

A few weeks ago she mentioned in passing that her boyfriend was now her ex-boyfriend. After another week or so I decided to ask her to hang out, and she said yes. I don't know if this was a mistake - should I have asked specifically to go out/on a date?We went for a walk, hammocked, had dinner, and watched a movie at her apartment. It went well and there was obvious mutual attraction. Before I left, I went for the kiss, and she turned away slightly. She said she wasn't sure if this was what she wanted and hugged me. She initiated the next time, asking if I wanted to go for a run late at night, which I couldn't due to other plans. Last night I asked the same thing and we went for a run, which was nice, but not much chance for escalation. Today she came with me to the gym and I showed her how to lift (bench, squat, pullups, overhead press).

We then went out to the pool area and tanned. I intentionally inserted some innuendos and teasing into my conversation to try to polarize her. Eventually we walked back, and before we parted ways, I stopped her.

I said that my interest in her was more than friendly (which she said she knew) and asked her if she was interested in that or not. She said she wasn't looking for that at the moment, so I replied that it was fine, and we could still be friendly, but I wouldn't be spending as much time as I had been with her. She seemed to take it well and we left amicably.

Did I fuck anything up here? I'm still working on swallowing TRP and I was just looking for some other perspectives.
