you werent direct and didnt imply anything other than leaving a vague 'maybe' style statement. doing that kind of shit will almost always get you a flake. its not up to women to plan dates. you didnt make one.

be more direct next time. if you ask if shes free sunday and maybe you should do something, right then and there say something like 'pick you up at X time' or 'meet me at X time' whatever... until they confirm a direct time/date, you dont have one.

doing any of the options 1, 2 or 4, will surely blow up in your face.

Dude, you did not, I repeat, you did not arrange to do something. "We should do something then" is as vague as it could possibly be. It needs a day, a time and where or what. You missed all of that. How could she know? It's your responsibility to set it up properly. Nothing is to blame for her.

Never ask a girl out. Tell her that you're going to be at place X at time Y and she should come.

Then go anyway, meet other girls while you're there and have fun. If she flakes, fuck some other girl. If she shows, there you are, having a good time, preselected by other girls. And you already habe a drink in your hand, so she can go get one herself rather than sending you to buy her one when you go get yours.
