Not much thought or discussion has ever been put into distinguishing the two.

As a side note, it would helpful if we were to gather all the information we do have and put it all in one place to direct people to.

Its tricky because the definitions change depending on how you view them.

To me being Alpha means being confident, loving yourself, living for yourself, facing all your demons, and just honestly living a badass life where you do what you want to do and you dont worry what other people think of you.

I'm not into the superficial bullshit like banging tons of chicks just for status of validation, following society(I want to go against the grain), being so caught up in trying to be the biggest badass in every situation.

Being Alpha means improving yourself and being the best version of yourself that you can be and bring others up with you that were once in your position.

It has nothing to do with being socially dominant. An alpha is sexually wanted by women, a beta is not.
