So i have this supervisor coworker who is a loud mouth and likes to ”roast” me. I usually have good comebacks but most of the time i am too tired and too drained to deal with such drama. I have no interest in playing this game. The problem is that recently his banter has been heading toward plain disrespect.

As another coworker said it has been effecting my general perception at work and that other supervisors and employees are starting to think less of me, which might effect their decision to confirm my hiring ( by local law, first 90 days of work are trial period)

How do i go about dealing with him? Just ignore and minimize banter to business related only? Agreeing and amplifying wouldn’t work from my experience.
