Do average woman hate good-looking/handsome guys?

I notice too often that only the very attractive girls seem receptive to my advances.

Average girls are often cold and distant in interactions.

I approached a lot of girls the last month and only the pretty ones were friendly and/or very receptive.

Average girls avoid me like the plague even thought my approach is not different to any other girl.

Unfortunately I came to the conclusion that most girls (average by definition) are very superficial in terms of looks and can't tolerate a man who draws more attention then herself. The player things is just an excuse for them so they don't have to admit to themselves that they are average looking.

Yes beauty is in the eye of the beholder but sometimes the beholder can hold your looks against you ;)

Any thoughts on that would be interesting to hear ?
