I know I still do. I'm trying to become a grown-up man. I'm trying to stop being so immature. A blue-pill horror story from 1.5 years ago has left an indelible mark on me and has removed most of my naivette. So has this subreddit.

But I still get crushes, apparently. Today, in my mid-20s, I began my first real job. It's not an internship and it's well-compensated. But of the two HR vixens who initiated the workplace tour for me, one has pre-occupied my mind most of the day and even this evening. She kept staring at me and smiling incessantly. And laughing at my occasional jokes. And then staring at me some more as she walked by at later times.

Now, with my Red Pill knowledge and maybe with some general common sense I've gained over the years, I know the following:

  1. Be professional at work. That means try not to hit on the women at your workplace. I'm in a geeky field, in a trendy city, so hot (and smart) girls are hired for HR and probably get hit on incessantly by all the nerdlings.

  2. Men tend to overrate how much they perceive their female interests to be into them. I'm referring to a study I read on reddit, possibly on this subreddit. I know that, at least for me, I overcompensated for my many years of being overly shy and introverted by assuming that girls liked me more than they actually did.

So I probably won't hit on this chick. I don't have much game. I might as well forge my skills in the streets and bars of my city and not risk my career by making dangerous moves in the workplace. But maybe I can indulge in blue-pill-esque fantasies while I slave away in my cubicle during the long days?
