You made plans, so the expectation is that she shows up when she said she would. Texting to verify that she’s still coming implies that women don’t always show up when you’ve made plans, so you’re asking because of past experiences, meaning that maybe other women pulled back because of some red flag that she missed.

I don’t see how texting materially improves your standing, so I wouldn’t text her.

There are varying schools of thought on this but I almost always do it for first dates because I’ve been straight ghosted before. I’d rather know than show up and waste time.

Some will say you look unconfident, not assertive, etc but nothing is worse than getting stood up and wasting your precious time. It happens.

I dont step foot in the shower to get ready if I dont receive confirmation text. And will end up making plans with a more assertive man for that night if I really want to go get taken out to eat somewhere. Failure to confirm adds a few extra hours on his clock to wait so he learns for next time. If he doesnt want to learn the marketplace is oversaturated with men for us ladies so, better luck next time 💁‍♀️
