Enjoy what you like. Sharing your hobbies with women is pointless if not dangerous. This is what that want from you--excitement, strength and sexuality. Does Anime give them that? No. Keep it to yourself.

Do note that you can get away with all sorts of hobbies that don't involve killing animals, beating other men up and lifting heavy shit as long as you are visually passionate about it. That gives tingles. Though I'm not sure anime can be overcome by this. You would probably come off as an Apex Sperg.

Unpopular opinion: yes, a grown ass man who watches cartoons does pose a problem. Do whatever you like? Nah, reevaluate your choices. You are spending time watching children’s shows.

I'm not chad and I like anime, but I dont go blurting it out like some autist to every girl I'm approaching. It's still "looked down upon". Just don't have fucking posters or figurines around in your house/bedroom and you should be alright. Rarely will you meet a girl that likes it too but mention it only after you close with her.

3 weeks ago I accidentally played my anime playlist while I was making out with a chick in the car. As soon as I heard the naruto theme song I started switching it to something more acceptable. Rap music in this instance. She didnt mention it and I still f-closed.

If she doesn’t share the same interest then probably just keep to yourself. But don’t stop that from you enjoy what you truly like. It’s up to you to gauge what you want to be known for.
