Ask out a girl to hang out, but she says she is busy. Period. Sometimes she might say "another time."
Conventional RP knowledge is that presenting no specific alternative means a woman is not interested.
In my experience, that's true most of the time. However, I have never once had a woman present an alternative, but I have gone out with some later on and hooked up with them after re-initiating.
If the RP community believes women lack initiative and need to be led by men, then should the original axiom about proposing alternatives be a hard and fast rule?
Because of this, I have stopped saying "meet me at XX at YY time on ZZ day." Women tend to be busy, too, and schedules rarely overlap, so I leave it more open-ended like "let's do (___) on Saturday" or a simple "free to hang this weekend?"
