I have been working out consistently and have put on significant muscle mass. This coupled with a healthier diet has led to what feels like a surge of Testosterone in my body. Anyways, the past few weeks have been rather interesting for my sleep schedule. I now habitually wake up after just 6 hours of sleep and it seems going back to sleep leads to further fatigue. Is it possible that increases in testosterone decrease the amount of sleep the body needs? I have not been able to find any evidence or studies on this subject, only that a lack of sleep usually decreases the amount of Testosterone in the body. So, theoretically, is it possible that an increase in Testosterone leads to less sleep due to the body attempting to reach a new hormonal homeostasis? Any feedback would be welcomed.
