Of course it does. It works especially well in NYC. How?

There is a perception that there is a gender imbalance favoring men in NYC in terms of numbers. While this is not statistically true, once you toss out the "undateables"--losers, basement dwellers, no-job-having MFers, the numbers actually do start favoring men. So basically, if you are a man who can walk upright, speak English and look employable, you should be doing just fine in NYC. Bonus points if you have some free cash, because NYC is ex-fucking-spensive.

Both men and women can find an actual quality person to fuck by literally the next night.

This works for sluts, but not over the population of all women. You are suffering from a bit of "gender blindness" here because you're thinking, "It's so easy for women! Pussy is in demand, so they can just go bang anyone in a city of 9M!" While technically true--and remember, I said it works for sluts--women are, spring break aside, generally more circumspect about upping the N-count "just because". This is why it's easy (and fun!) to bang ex-gfs who are on a dry spell; you are a known quantity to them, you don't up their notch count, and they can dispense with the "dance" and get busy with you.
