There’s a girl that I have been keeping an eye on who is friends with someone I know well. We have had great/flirty conversations and she is exactly my type. Although there are a couple of problems preventing me from making a move.

Firstly, she been us living in different cities, as a long distance relationship is never worth the trouble.

Second, my friend who I know her through has said she is not that interested and is not looking for a relationship. Although, my friend (a girl) told me this when she had a multiple year long crush on me. My friend is now in a happy relationship, so this is no longer a potential problem.

I have tried to make a move over messenger last time she was in my city, she just happened to be at the airport and leaving at the time. She responded to me “haha nice try tho” so she clearly knew my intentions.

However, she has now recently come back to my city, maybe for good? so I replied to her story to find out.

“how long do i have until airport dm #2?”

She responded by just liking the dm.

I would want to get to know this girl, so my question is, should I leave it and hope to run into her through my friend, or is double texting to try and organise a date a better move? it seems needy and unattractive in my eyes.

Before you ask, yes I have other plates, yes I lift, yes I have hobbies, I am just wanting to get a second opinion on the best way to meet in person or get a straight forward answer of potential interest.
