I'm gonna go (very slightly) against the grain in here and point out that it depends on:

what sort of girls you're trying to game.
what age you are. There's a huge difference between a 25 vs a 45 year old rocking some studs
your 'look'. Some styles will look fucking stupid if you add jewellery

Did mine a week ago. Got both pierced. Came from a very religious family so it's more symbolical for me than cosmetic. After a few days they won't matter. You'll just remember you have them when you touch your ears.

Nope. I have both lobes pierced and wear studs, even small hoops sometimes. I pull it off without looking like bitch, but I can't say the same for everyone else. You just have to be your own judge.

I have stretched lobes and a nose piercing. You can guess the type of women I tend to attract but I’ve never had a problem with “normal” girls either. I also have a career where I’m required to wear a suit everyday and have had no complaints or issues stemming from my piercings.
