I've heard a guy, who's very good at picking up, saying he doesn't eat at parties nor dates and is disgusted if the girl does.
Not long after that a close female friend told me she doesn't eat around guys she doesn't feel comfortable with, mainly on the first few dates.
Now for the first time I asked something to eat and heard the girl saying "well, to be honest I don't really eat at night", which can only be bullshit.

Is this some standard?
