tl;dr: Realized I was Beta Bux for gf and her brother. I want to leave our rental with the least amount of $$$ damage done (by her) done to my personal items.

Hello asktrp, I have the rp community to thank for opening my eyes, now I am about to make a big step and would like some suggestions on the most graceful way to gtfo of my current house with the least financial impact. After swallowing the rp, listening to a lot of Patrice (RIP), I've looked at things in a new light. One specific thing that's been nagging me is "What does she bring to the table?" and the answer to that is nothing but a hole that I no longer wish to fill.

Right now I am working full-time to pay the bills while my gf & her brother enjoy the fruits of my labor. We are in a rental that's in my gf & my name. Her brother is not so bad - he actually does work hard around the house and earns his keep. Her, however, she just sits on her ass and watches tv all day. She is on disability, so she brings a measly $1k/mo to the table but easily eats that up quite literally in food & meds (yes, she's let self go - surprise surprise!). I, on the other hand bring about 7k/mo to the table. This rental is a house; I have a lot of my own personal shit in it, some very expensive shit.

My fear is that as soon as I drop the bomb on her, she will destroy everything expensive of mine of out spite cuz she's losing her life of luxury. I can't kick her out of the house because her name is on the lease too. I no longer have a lease obligation to the landlord and there is no last month's rent put down, just a cleaning deposit that I don't see getting back anyways but don't care, it wasn't much, maybe $500.

I've thought about just slowly moving my expensive shit out of the house and into a new apartment/storage a little bit at a time (I could probably get 3/4 of my stuff out before she notices since her ass never leaves the couch). Then just leaving her and her brother to pay the bills (spoiler alert: they can't and will have to move in with their parents), and of course cancel all of the utilities in my name.

I don't think she would damage the actual house, as she likes our landlord a lot and would only want to try to hurt me. I'm not worried about false-rape allegations as I've recorded her asking me for sex and me turning her down several times.

As you can see, I'm kind of a mess and not sure if my anger is clouding my judgement, which is why I'm here. I know she can tell I'm not happy, but I don't think she suspects that I'm mad enough to bail yet, so I have the advantage in that.
