I've come along way since my pure BP days. I was stuck in a relationship out of fear, bouncing from temp job to temp job. I can now meet and get involved with women who are my type and better looking. I'm now very well educated, making good money for my age (32) and am on a good career path after a lot of blood, sweat and tears.

I now see the relationship world for what it is - and it's depressing and has led me to bouts of internal anger. Because women are so bad at keeping their mouths shut, I know the last two women I've been involved with have been involved with higher status men than myself. Both financially and looks wise. It makes me feel like I can't measure up. This leads to three things: it drives me to improve, drives me away from interest in these women and makes me angry. I feel like a consolation prize. They couldn't keep their grips on the gold so they settled for the silver.

How did you get to the acceptance phases? Im stuck between depression and anger phases.

How do you get over the fact you aren't at the same level as the other men that women you can attract have been involved with?

Instead of celebrating my huge progress, I've ended up focusing in on guys that are way ahead of me at the same age either at the office or at the gym.

I'm heading in the right direction but need some enlightenment to keep my momentum up.
