So, whenever my girlfriend is stressed out, I've noticed that she tends to not have complete control of how she handles her emotions. A result of this is that she tends to take it out on me indirectly, such as being "short" and "rude" sometimes. Slightly disrespectful other times. Otherwise, things are great.

My question is, if she says stuff like: "You do that to me all the time for things that I think are important." when she changes the subject and I bring up that fact... Cuz I wanted to finish talking about what we were talking about that was important.

For me, important is like... She needs to focus on the conversation and chat with me about things such as where I'll be living in the near future, and not do other things at the same time. As this could directly influence our relationship. Normally, she would care. When she's stressed, she "snaps at me" and says shit like what I mentioned above. When the opposite is either rarely true, or she never mentions it until she "snaps".

TLDR: If she disrespects me when she's stressed out, what should I do?

I know this is potentially a small issue, but it bothers me to no end that something I think is important is being disrespected. Should I just leave her alone for a few hours and let her do her shit?
