Hey guys,

So I have recently started using cold approach on my college campus. My school is very big 40k+ students, so I think it's an ideal environment to approach and meet new girls. Anyways, last Wednesday the first girl I cold approached said she had a boyfriend. The second girl (6-7) was open to it and we were talking about what restaurants on that street were good - As we were talking she caught on to it and said "Are you asking me out right now, because if you are I would go out with you". I said I thought she was cute and would like to hang out sometime. She gave me her number and I texted her 3 hours later and we set up a date for that Sunday at a moderately priced Thai restaurant. I know I made a mistake setting up a date at a restaurant when I should've met her for coffee/drinks but I realized that too late and went with the flow. She keeps texting me a bit before the date, asking me if I was really new in town, etc. and we meet on Sunday. Just for background, I am very much into lifting and am a pretty big guy (6' 185 pounds). When she walks into the restaurant she looks a bit taken aback to see that I'm jacked because I was wearing a jacket when I approached her (I take this as a good sign). During the date, I make it a point to ask her questions and talk as little as possible about myself. I am naturally a more introverted and less expressive guy, so I had to put in a lot of effort to smile more and make her laugh but I think I did a decent job with this. However, it turns out that the restaurant was closing at 9 PM (We met at 8 PM) so the date was pretty short. When the waiter dropped the check at our table he put it right behind my plate and I asked her if she's good to split it and she was fine with it (I mentioned that that's what I normally do). Anyways, we both pay and I ask her if she drove there, etc. and she said she walked there and her house is a 10 minute walk. I tell her that "I'll walk you home" and she says ok. This is when I started to pickup the vibe that she seemed a bit tense and uncomfortable but I just played it cool and made a few jokes while we walked to her place. When we get to her house the first thing she says is "I would invite you inside but my house is a mess right now". I just laugh and say its all good. This is where she moves in to hug me but I go for the kiss and kissed her for about 5 seconds. When I start to go for the tongue, she cuts it off and kisses me on the cheek and says goodnight etc. I just say "I had a good time, we should do this again some other time", say goodnight and head home. I have never cold approached before and I am trying to improve my game, etc. so I was wondering if there was anything I did wrong here or if the girl just wasn't the type to put out on the first date. I would appreciate any kind of advice or areas of improvement on how I could've done better here.
