She says yeah, tells me it's for a psych class. I ask if she's a psych major, then start chatting about that professor cause he's an interesting oddball. Go on to how I plan on taking that class. She says how it's a great class and agree's he's chill and interesting. Then I say;

Hey so I gotta head back to class, but what are you doing Saturday? Say around 3.

Sleeping probably haha.

You seem cool, instead let's grab some drinks together.

I don't think I can actually.

"You seem cool" was definitely a mistake. Sounds weird, validates her for nothing, places her above myself. Could've elongated and led the conversation a bit cause she seemed receptive. I held eye contact for too long, might have put her on guard a bit. I've read a good method is a few moments of solid contact then lazily scan the room, that true?

Other than those points, any thoughts on what some RP vets would've done? One approach means almost nothing of course, but I want to refine my method each time.

As for attractiveness, is it important to be decently-more attractive than the chick you're gaming if you want to keep it short and sweet? I'd give myself around a 7 and from what I could see she was average with a bit of makeup.
