So I had my first Tinder date which I'm pretty excited about, not because I think anything is going to come of it but because I actually fucking did something that took me out of my comfort zone for the first time since I cold approached a girl about a year ago. So here's how it went... so I made the date at a local pub that is pretty popular. I get there about 10 minutes early, we were scheduled to meet at 330. She doesn't get there until 340, I'm a little annoyed at this since I always make it a point to be on time for everything, but I didn't make an issue out of it which in hind sight may have been a good idea to at least let her know that it's not acceptable, I'm not sure. But anyways we sit down I get a beer she gets a water and we're making small talk, no real escalation, bad on my part, I kino'd one time when she was telling me about her tattoos at which point I grabbed her arm to get a better look which she was receptive to. Basically the whole time I was driving the conversation which probably wasn't good because it shows I was over investing and I think I was smiling too much. Other than that I kept breaking eye contact to look at other HB passing by which worked pretty well. She seemed interested, held strong eye contact, was smiling the whole time, but I had to keep driving the conversation. Maybe next time I'll allow the awkward silence to come in to make her invest more in the conversation. She ended the date saying she had a dinner to go to, bad on me, should have ended the date sooner. No k close or anything like that, right now I'm just gonna go no contact, if she's interested she'll text me but all in all I'm pretty happy that I went out and got the first date under my belt. Overall didn't really care about the results, since reading trp I've finally understood that women are no more than a accessory to my life and a source of fun nothing more. So as long as I keep learning from my mistakes and keep having fun going out there and putting myself on the line I'm happy. Hope this inspires you guys who are having trouble making that first step to going on a date or cold approaching someone.
