I'm honestly shocked at this.

One of my best friends who's relatively quiet and keeps to himself has been suffering at university. Dude lives in student dorms with a bunch of beta whiteknights.

Two days ago he was sitting in the kitchen eating his food when one of the girls starts being rude to him. Eventually it escalates and she throws her whole pizza on him then hits him in the eye. Dude pushes her off him and leaves the room.

A couple hours later the campus police come and arrest him. Drop him in actual jail for a whole night.

Apparently all the guys who were there and saw the situation SUPPORTED the girl, even people who weren't there jumped straight to her side.

The girl said that he'd assaulted her and like dogs, the police came to get him.

Guess what? Dude is on a record now, if he does anything else or causes any trouble he could end up in Jail for real this time.

I'm honestly lost for words.

Any advice for him? And for me too.
