My ex didn't give me my money back. We had a trip planned while we were together, she dropped me for her best male friend and didn't return the money.

And some conclusions that i had after that:

The funny thing is that she did so many shitty things to tangle me to be her orbiter and beta in waiting... She kept my stuff for more than a month after we broke up, she wanted me to sparkle her passion again(belive that mmkay) .

Yeah I'd think they'd expect their money back. Cancel the trip. Get a refund. Stop trying to date fwb, Just bang them.

Going to need more details. Can you cancel and both get a refund, or is it at the point where costs have been sunk, and where the person backing out just expects to be bailed out by the other?

I would say no. Technically you’re each buying your part of the trip. If you back out that’s you’re loss. Seems pretty fair to me
