Stop drinking. That is the absolute best advice you will ever receive for preventing problems with drinking. I have nothing against drinking, but I also don't cry at the pub about a high school sweatheart.
Alcohol lowers your inhibitions and destroys your decision making abilities. If you're dead set on drinking then drink less than you currently are. Nothing is more revealing about a man than his drunken words or his actions in times of despair. You say your emotions get stronger, you're wrong.
my emotions get a lot stronger
Emotional strength is not pouring your heart out. Emotional strength goes hand in hand with maturity and mindfulness. If you equate 'wearing your heart on your sleeve' with emotional strength you're looking at it through a blue lens. Men are logical beings and know that emotions blur logic. Controlling your emotions and concealing them when you see fit (based on your words you would prefer to conceal them when drunk) is a far more accurate depiction of strength.
Note that emotions aren't a bad thing. Women and children are emotional and we love them for it. We all have emotions but as a man you must come to terms with yours and learn to understand them. From time to time I think of my Father and I am overcome with grief, this is my private business and I would only share it with the veil of anonymity. It is not a weakness nor a strength, just an experience of life.

Drink less. Like somebody who gets in wrecks or makes other bad decisions when drinking, you need to quit getting drunk.
You may have to quit entirely.

If you are experiencing symptoms of a drug that you do not want and you do not need the drug in question, you are using too much of it. That is why I no longer do weed.

I know " stop drinking " sounds, like ridiculous hardcore advice but you have to really digest what you're asking us.
If you become weak and emotional when drinking , the only way to not be weak and emotional is not to drink.
I would say drink alone but drunk texts and drunk dials are a thing. Protect yourself by eliminating those weak moments caused by drinking

You're not listening to the advice given. You're hamstering everything. Guys say you drink too much you say no, obviously thats the issue 1 or 2 beers gives you this emotional diarrhea and if that's the case that's too much booze for you. Stop drinking like everyone has said or don't ask for advice.

I'm going to disagree with everyone else here. Alcohol is not your problem, you're just not in control of your emotions. You need to check some books on emotional intelligence and maybe look into some meditation. Shitting your feelings out of your mouth when you have two beers is a symptom, not the disease. You've got some issues you need someone to listen too, and when you get a little buzz the guy in your brain stops feeling inhibited about who your willing to open up to. As much as I hate suggesting it, maybe see a therapist.

I think this is the best answer. You need to get your mind right. If you're peaceful internally, you will be peaceful all the time. Work out your emotions when you're alone. Think about why you feel that way. Come to terms with it. Be awesome.
