You, my friend, have Onitis in a very bad case. If you are not able to walk away (and you clearly are not) she has all the power and basically can play with your feelings to her desire. Controlling behavior will sooner or later either turn her away because of the feeling of constant distrust or you will find something that pushes you over the edge to finally be able to leave her. If she is not willing to drop it without you forcing it, I don't think your relationship will last. Be prepared for that to happen. Don't let it take you by surprise.

This would not be an issue if you were outgoing and could easily meet new people/potential prospects for LTR. You have to stop making her your world because she feels your insecurity and your clinginess. She's not at fault here, you are.

You put her on a pedestal and she hates you for it.

Best thing to do here is ignore whatever they have going on because in the end, they're both irrelevant. She is there to accompany you in your life journey, not be your life journey.

If she strays away from the path, so be it. You keep moving forward and you replace her.
