You can next her if you want but keep in mind that typically guys who have this problem have it with every girl they get seriously involved with. In this case, you are concerned with this coworker and it fills your mind but with the next girl it will be because she slept with the bus driver or her ex thousands of miles away. Because your relationship with her is all about sex. Maybe it was always like that, or maybe it's turning out like that because she's stressing out her past (that's a shit test, btw). But bottom line is, you feel like shit because you feel like you're giving her love and commitment to get what she seems to have given freely.

If you ever want to succeed in a relationship with a chick that has a past of her own, you need a certain mindset that'll probably acquire with experience. You need to be willing to take and pay for the things that she provides BESIDES sex and understand that you are committing - forfeiting your freedom - for that. (Which implies "things" must be fucking wonderful and such women, damn rare.)

On her side, she'll have to make that easier. Women that say "Hi, I'm Girl, above everything I am a sexual being, and complimentary I share all your interests" will probably make you feel like shit, after all you'll be sparing love and commitment for a woman whose proclaimed main virtue is shared by all others, she used to give freely, and you might take freely from others, implying that you can only stay with them for either sheer stupidity or overt incapacity to get sex otherwise. And this is the trend.
