Here's the thing: When a woman is highly attracted to, and really wants to date/sleep with a guy - she won't risk messing things up by sleeping with a different guy (even if the situation isn't exclusive)....especially someone you know and deal with on a regular basis. You should have dropped her flat immediately after you found out.

Reverse the situation: If you slept with a woman's friend, someone she sees on a regular basis - while on a 'trial period' with her; do you really think the woman would be all right with that? No. She would flip out and paint you as a loser to everyone you know.

If she was really that into you, she would not have been fucking another guy you know. And she never would have let you find out about it.

So what were you doing that fall? Just hanging out? Going on dates? Online communication only? Were you her orbiter? Were you hooking up at that point? Were you just casual acquaintances who occasionally spoke?

This makes a big difference.
