Got a second dui last year chasing some pussy. Deserve what I got for being stupid. Going to just close it out and with good time should be home before spring. I'm trying to stay positive and see this as an opportunity to grow as a man.

The past year I worked as a painter and between carrying paint, ladders, equipment, and going up and down ladders all day I stayed in great shape. I moved back with my folks a while back to prepare for jail and get them used to my dog they'll be watching for me, I'm already getting doughy from lack of activity (didn't have to work out but needed to eat a lot for energy at work, didn't notice I was eating a ton still without burning it off). I've always been oddly heavier than I should, when I was rail skinny and you could count my ribs and my hip bones were popping out I still weighed 160 at 5'11, when I was shredded a few years back got it to 170, and now I'm approaching 185 so I'm hoping to drop 15-20 pounds.

With good time, doing inmate worker, and them cutting nonviolent people out at 75% completion I'm guessing I'll do around 80 days. They give you a giant cookie for lunch and big piece of cake with a ton of frosting with dinner. It's a cheap way to claim we get all our calories. Going to do what I always do and trade the sweets for vegetables or protein (though people rarely trade the meat).

I'm looking for some good exercises for body weight beyond push-ups and dips. I can also have books sent to me and am hoping to improve not just my body but mind. I've heard good things about gorilla mindset so that's on the list but I'm having a hard time similar books that aren't just blue pill philosophy.

Any suggestions or advice would be helpful. Thanks.
