Common sense tells us that there should be a limit to doing random cold approach if you're on a college campus. You'll eventually get a creepy rep if you're game and looks suck. If you're closing that's different.

You can approach on campus but choose wisely. Definitely don't play like a numbers game cold approach like someone would in New York City or LA.

Fuck your old friends. Sounds to me bro like you have lost everything at this point so you're reason for not approaching shouldn't be social. Just don't over do it.

If people find your approaching creepy in a way that it harms your reputation it means your SMV isn't high enough.

With high enough SMV it would work in your favor

I can totally relate but in a slightly different scenario. I bang girls in my social circle.

You have to understand game and Evolutionary Psychology.

Girls all want to fuck. This is a fact. The more girls you bang, the more you understand this. They WANT a guy who 'gets them'.

The more you waffle, the more you're indirect the more they slot you into the beta provider slot.

It's not WHAT you do that will be the subject of "gossip" but HOW you do it. If you're the creepy guy who's approaching every girl and asking them to see you sock collection, you're going to be singled out as a creep.

If you're discrete, understand how to approach, do so using the Mystery Method: Opener, Neg, Qualify, Comfort, bounce....or Krauser's Date Model---which personally I find more practical. You'll be able to meet girls and take them out.

I now rarely waste time with girls going on endless "dates"....I escalate very quickly and understand immediately where things are going.

I met an HB7 on public transport. Got an IOI, I thought I knew her actually, she came over...I started teasing her...got her number, texted a short time later to get her out.

3 dates and I banged her senseless. In other cases, girls I met online I banged that night because I set it up very quickly that this was about fucking and not endless dates.

I observe guys. I just finished up with a girl who was toxic. But I pulled her at a party after dancing with her for 10 minutes. We went for drinks....next night we went out and made out, next night she came over and I banged her. Later she said "I went out that night wondering if a guy would ask me for drinks..." I was that guy.

There were "friends" of mine who were orbiting her. She would take them to dance classes, they would invite her to movies....expensive dinners. That was really what caused a lot of tension. But when I look back on it....she was just courting attention all the while she was banging my brains out. I was "Chad".

Back to gossip....you want to be confident about the approaches. Learn and understand game. Read Mystery, get Daygame Mastery, read Shark's archived blog---I think a guy here saved it?

It's not about being in a tight social circle...it's about being socially savvy to know when to escalate, who to approach---game.

It depends on your approach and your personality, and also the size of your campus. If you are pleasant and uplifting people will naturally open up to you, and if you use plausible deniability and subtleties in your interactions you'll likely be able to get away with a lot without getting a rep. First, I'd just try talking to everyone and get a feel for how they respond. Build on a couple relationships - there will be people you bump into more than others, so you can stop to catch up for a few moments the next few times you see them. You can find things in common by asking where theyre from and how they find the college and what theyre into. That's how I'd start this, and make it a goal to become casual with like 3-5 people in a month. If you get positive results and you start building confidence doing this you could start opening girls doing the same thing. Any questions?

I dude i slide into girls DM on instagram all the time and either get shutdown by friends of girls I already fucked and had no idea they were friends or they are into the drama.

It sounds like you often play things safe and aren't a very big risk taker. Be indirect about it. You can approach anyone in a friendly way. You can approach anyone in a gym and ask them what workout program they're doing. I did this to this girl at my gym. I saw her writing down her reps and sets and I asked her what she was doing and she said the name of the program but i forgot it. I asked her name and gave her mine and then left. I saw her a week later and remembered her name (it was a hard name that I've never heard before, but it's very important and influential to remember people's names) and just made small talk. Today she saw me and came up to me and was chatting with me asking how I was doing (I'm in an LTR so I'm not escalating with anyone at the moment). I could've been indirect with her and asked her to text me the name of the program, or to text me the website and she wouldn't of even thought of me trying to get at her. Then a few days later, I could've messaged her to grab a coffee with me. Be indirect

If you approach girls and say, "uh I know this is weird, but I think you're pretty, and uh, do you want to go out sometime" she will more likely tell her friends and it will kill your rep.
