So I went to a bar last night and immediately saw a HB9 sitting alone. She kept glancing over at me giving me strong eye contact, so I walk over and approach her. We start talking and she eventually even touches me on the arm briefly. She was playing with her hair and asked if I'm single. After talking more and building rapport, I hand her my phone and tell her to give me her number...

Rejected. She tells me she is actually dating the bartender. I thought maybe it was a shit test and responded with "don't worry, I'm not the jealous type". She just laughed it off. I still didn't give up and eventually touch her on the leg and said "it can be our little secret". She then says "you can't do that!" (referring to the touching). At this point I assumed it just wasn't going to happen and eventually left.

I'm just confused because she was giving me IOIs (or at least I thought) and seemed attracted to me, yet got rejected. I'm not obsessing over this girl, just simply trying to build up my game which is the only reason I'm asking. I have no problem with rejection now, because my old blue pilled self would've never even approached her. So ultimately the experience has given me more confidence, but wondering what (if anything) I could do in the future to improve?
