Don't argue with anyone about this. Say "Ok" or "Thanks for your advice". Tell them you are working on yourself, developing yourself, working on your career, and until then it doesn't make any sense to get full-on serious with anyone in particular.

You don't even have to say anything. Just understand that society's expectation is that you should marry and have kids, people telling you to grow up is just them trying to shame you into society's expectations. It doesn't matter what people think about this. This just tells you these people are plugged in and you shouldn't ever take relationship or life advice from them.

Unless you are the boss in the situation or live in a wealthy neighborhood, you can't escape the shaming of the herd mind.

All these rules and taboos are created to keep the masses, especially beta males happy with mediocrity and not make a fuss. Everyone (the masses) has too much invested in following the mainstream script by the blue pill (a plan designed to fail, maxes-out at mediocrity). When you come along a break away from the conventional path so blatantly, you look like you're cheating and show people how much they're losing in their lives. All women will shame you to man up and be a provider or sacrifice yourself because women collectively need you and they want to create a safety beta-tempurpedic. Men will shame you because they hate seeing you be free from their mental prison with their mental shackles of the bluepil.

Fuck them. Avoid these people. Keep on pimpin'.

Honestly, at 31 I can say the same things. There are two lessons I took away from my own journey that I try to stick with. (1) you are who you surround yourself with, if they are trying to drag you down drop the dead weight (2) conformity feels good to some people and it is very disrupting if others do not also conform.

Basically, people at our age start settling. Take a women they dont really love, work a stable but unfulfilling job. Take on crippling debt, have kids they do not want. Just think of that. Think if you are unbridled by all that crap what is possible.

I am a cut throat business man, I have more than I ever imagined, I do what I want when I want, my "friends" have some frumpy housewife who controls them and straddles them with debt. Fuck that man.

If they are not fitting into your view of your life push them out and never look back
