My friend is chad he had any girl he wants. Like they approach him at bars. Ever since we were kids fucking girls fawn to him. This is the fist time I've seen him do this and I can't explain it someone help me out here

So my friend and I were out at a hostel traveling. There was this girl that joined us for 3 days. I was so into her . I tried everything I learned here. But my first just befriend her and she was at his side 24/7 I could tell she was so into him but he told me " sine she leaving so soon he dose not wanna get "attached" to her since were doing a working holiday and she's going back home and that he likes her to much to try anything.

now she gone and they text every fucking day. Like wtf I don't understand here. Did he friend zone her because he did not wanna get "attached" he told be because a woman like that he would fall for and he wants to have fun on our one year trip and not be in "something".

Now he tells me he will be visiting her next year in her home country and they will be going on a trip together. Like WTF. In these three days I try to pull her and he dose noting but be nice and a "friend" and there going on holiday together soon. He showed me the fucking text. By the way they have been texting for a month.
