The information you gave leaves three alternatives:

When she first found about the cheating she was in denial, hence she didn't require you to use condoms. Now she has moved on to other stages of grieving that require her to act, and therefore wants you to use condoms and protect her;
She has been exposed and wants to protect you;
She has dropped bc while away.

It's impossible for us to tell, but the first one is easy to confirm for you. If you think for a while about her behavior and the stages of grieving you should be able to spot the characteristic ones.

There are feasible strategies to confirm the third one without asking and letting out insecurity. You can check whether her pack of pills is new or old, or risk asking "How long with condoms on?".

She'll be remorseless if she cheated on you, so she probably won't display most of the red flags associated to it. This will be the case if you can rule out the others. But if she's naive she'll take the tests and release you from condoms as soon as she can since it also sucks for her, and that'll be as soon as the guidelines for std testing suggest for your country. Here they say 12 weeks to make sure the tests will work.
