Usually they submit and it has become almost trivial to get them attracted/invested, making out or getting their numbers.

You're also in Sweden, where there's that culture of not being overly social/confrontational literally indoctrinated into most of you fuckers from a young age.

Having been there recently, you need to build comfort much better and preferably tone it down when you're doing so. push/pull, building more rapport etc. If you're too amped, you'll just trigger that social defense and they will just disregard you outright as a risk.

When talking with girls there, I personally would be significantly less intense but ask them a lot about themselves and culture there, also because I'm interested as I was a tourist. YMMV.

I'm guessing you're either coming on too strong or sticking around too long. If you come on too strong you're just showing that you're try-hard, which destroys attraction. Also, if you build attraction at first and they seem interested but then stay around too long, then the attraction and excitement kind of fizzles out.

Oh and how are you getting their numbers? Like what reason do you give them? Is it just, "hey, put your number in my phone," or do you say, "you seem pretty cool, why don't we get coffee sometime? [teehee that would be great fishysmelly] damn right it would be, when are you free? [blah blah blah, you agree on a time and a place] alright cool. Here, let me get your number"

I find that it feels much more natural to ask for a girl's number when you've already made plans. Plus then you can get a feel for whether she's into you or not and you don't have to agonize over what you send her and how you ask her out via text and oh god when is she going to respond and so on.

Oh and also it could be that you're approaching girls in groups. I find it easier when I strike up a conversation when a girl's alone. There's something about a girl being with her friends that makes it harder or weirder to make a good connection (either you're trying to hook up with both of them which is weird or you're trying to hook up with one of them which makes her feel self conscious)
