Hostels in your 30s?

Great idea. Dress the same way someone in their mid-20s would dress (e.g. don't be afraid to throw on a flat cap), keep your facial hair short and be chill. You're confidence will mean all the girls in their 20s will be drawn to you over the fumbling 23yo guy.

Not the case. Hostels have everything especially really cool ones. I've gone out and done fun shit with mixed groups that included people in there 20s and 30s. Airbnbs are better if you are going to be there longer term. I stay in ones with people my age to get an in on the area.

Some of the best hostels also have a bar/restaurant. Depends on where you are of course...pick good ones.

Was just in Berlin and stayed in a 6 bed dorm! I'm 36. I've no prob with it whatsoever!

When I was in Spain, I stayed in a hostel. I met with a guy who was in his 60s, from Finland. He was full of energy and everyone was talking with him.

Does not matter. Travel!

I party and get along with everyone and go with the flow.

In your place I'd go with the AirBnbs. Doing proper research about hostels is a hassle. I dig them because I'm prone not to interact with lots of people otherwise.

OMG, you seriously think you're too old for hostels? I've meet super old people..like 50 or so, also families. You're completely into the hostels age. Just maybe not a party hostel....but besides that, I think you're super okay. I'm 26 and I love hostels.
