Recently had to walk out of a long LTR earlier this year and decided to become exclusive with a new chick.

Mostly smooth sailing for the past 4 months, doing things right, leading the way, very few arguments and they're all stomped out and she apologizes, sends me lovey dovey messages all day long but on Thursday we had a very mundane misunderstanding in communication that is honestly so mundane it's not worth posting about.

The problem is she pressed the misunderstanding a bit much after I say there is no issue it's just a misunderstanding in communication. I don't feel the need to repeat myself so I don't respond. She says she'll talk to me later. Well something in my personal life comes up and my day is a wreck, while I'm dealing with this of course now she's mad that I haven't been talking, and makes a snide remark which I brush off (I had no good response so I figure no response is better than a bad one). I really don't have time for the bullshit. Eventually she accuses me of ignoring her all day, I tell her what's going on and also that "youre not being ignored, i am not interested in getting into petty arguments with you." Well she snapped, broke up with me saying I was playing games, removed me on all social media. I didn't respond at all.

I think I could have possibly made a few better choices, maybe I ignored too much? Either way it is a completely pathetic thing to end a relationship over. I'm just a bit stunned, I have been analyzing this the entire time thinking where I went south in the relationship and I really didn't. I kept the frame, made all the right moves, had her doing everything I wanted, even the night before this happened she was still head over heels for me. Mental illness? Sudden shit test/emotional over reaction? I've had plenty of breakups but this one is boggling my mind really bad.
