I suggest that you stop listening to those songs, then call your buddies and have a couple nights out, maybe meet some new people.

There's no fast cure, but I promise you, no matter how impossible it seems right now, this feeling will pass.

It's cool how you can attach memories to music, I think it is awesome, and yeah it can bring back bad memories. The way I handled that is by not listening to those bands until you're 110% over this girl.

Also go hang out with some guys and approach women, that helps too.

Two things: abundance mentality, and separation. Delete the songs and any pictures you may have saved, you can leave them in a folder on your computer for memory's sake when you're better, but they just need to be out of your life for the time being. If you have a solid support group of guy friends, and abundance mentality from multiple high quality plates, your oneitis will be crushed.

Not sure how old you are but by the time you're dating girls who are in the bar & club scene (or past it) , most girls will have a much higher count then you will. It's easier for girls to get laid... That's how they find happiness: by validation.

Either way, you dumped her, she's probably out working overtime on validating since you sent her packing. Just imagine she has probably had a different dick every night since you split. That's always helped me over 1itis.

Also if you were to get back together, there will always be bad blood between you two and that's not good for longevity.

If you really need a girl with a low count, good luck. You should know there is a bad side to that too: she might want to explore more before she settles down with you.

The source of your issue might not be the specific girl, my friend - it might be the circumstances surrounding your breakup.

If you broke up with her because she's had more partners than you, yet you still connected to being with her sexually as deeply as you describe, you created yourself a wicked little emotional/logical paradox your brain is still struggling to cope with. You labeled her as bad because of her partner count, but everything you did with her felt good, so your conscious/subconscious is busily going "what the ever livin' fuck?!?"

Time to realign some morals and priorities and the "one-itis" will happily resolve itself.

Honestly you should of had another girl lined up before you dumped her. A girl like that isn't looking for a husband. She's going to fuck around til she can't fuck around anymore. There's nothing immoral about staying with a girl who's company you enjoy while you look for another girl, because she's doing the exact same thing. The only question is whether she can actually find a guy better than you.

There was a good post about this somewhere on /r/TheRedPill a while ago; the part from that article that i found most useful:

Oneitis is comparable to an addiction. Your mind mistakenly attributes the source of arousal to the girl. And when you are forced to go cold turkey (i.e., break up), your mind enters coping state. You lose all motivation to do anything and only focus on getting her back.

This right here helped me quite a bit; seeing these feelings as the result of an type of addiction helped me to logically focus on getting past them - every time i'd start to think about x i'd tell myself "You're having a withdrawal symptom, let it go".
