Go for a walk in the park. Go people watching. Go exercise/play a sport together such as soccer. Get a late hot chocolate, tea or coffee.

A date shouldn't be about spending money on a girl it should be about getting to know them and to see if they are worth your time or not.

If you are really stressing about money it will show and she will not really be interested.

You should remember if you wine and dine chicks it will not lead to your bedroom.

Financial success is one of the fastest qualifiers in the game, like it or not, and the top 1% of women can sniff out the fakers instantly. You should approach 'dating' (using the term loosely based upon the subject encounter; really filtering and possible escalation) from a different perspective. You're looking at it (at least that's how I interpret it) as what is the societal norm for 'dating'. Which is a form of covert contract; e.g. I feed you (specifically buying you dinner) and I expect you to ___ me.

The RP/masculine perspective is different and free from covert contracts; by all means you should be overt. e.g. You, the man, are going to go eat at TJI McFunsters on Friday 'cause they have the Blooming Mcshits on special with a margarita boat. Hey Jane do you want to tag along?

A dinner date is a great venue to get to know (e.g. filter) someone; but would be better as a second encounter ... go short (<60min) and cheap (1 drink) at a pub/coffee shop on the first; you want to discern if there is any interest on your and her part for more. And specifically your investment in this; your time and money should have high value to you and you should not make yourself too available thus cheapening your value to yourself (which also cheapens your value to any potential woman).

The best venue for that meal date is your kitchen or hers as a backup. The tertiary venue should be a restaurant. Cooking at home is also cheaper and a the meal doesn't have to fancy. The meal is [always] just a vehicle to 'drive' the encounter (filtering and escalation). And cooking at home, with her there and a part of it, also broadens the encounter and gives more opportunity to filter/escalate.

I'm in the final stages of divorce and have moved into a new house. Literally empty cupboards, some bar stools, the stereo and my bed in this place. I've been chasing a 9 recently and dealing w/ divorce finances being thin. But she's spent the night several times recently after I cooked her dinner and shared a bottle of good wine.

If you worked on commercial sites, you'd know that extremely hot teenagers work trash duty and go to 'more womminz in the trades ' tours in skimpy clothing for the sole purpose of being around the construction workers.

I've never been checked-out and approached by women more than when I worked in construction or yardwork (sweaty, dirty, muscles flexin', doing manshit). Hold frame at all times. If she asks why you're dirty, just say "it's the job" This is indirect which is important. Plus it leaves her hanging and requires more investment (a follow up question): "What do you do?". Don't specify your trade because specification restricts imagination. Just say "construction".
