I currently have a little bit of self acceptance issues. I know mentality makes the difference but I just cant go look in the mirror and think “women actually find me attractive”. If I had to put an estimate onto it,I would say I have a relatively high SMV. I’m 5’9, 140lbs, I lift hard 4-5x a week & play basketball 2-3x a week on my off days which has me in the best shape of my life so far, I have a better than average paying part time job, my own car, and I’m passing my college classes with flying colors, en route to a bachelors in civil engineering. There’s not much I can do that I am not already doing to up my SMV and I still just don’t feel like women see me with the slightest bit of romantic/sexual interest. I don’t have an excellent track record so far, I’m still a virgin, and have dealt with depression issues in the past. My question is to those guys that are in the same or worse setups as I am that can wake up in the morning, find the nearest mirror, and go “aye. Look at that. I’m the shit”. How do you do it? Is it just pure mental grit and gaslighting your own inconfidence out of you? Do you got a specific phrase you remember? How do you find your validation?
